Historic TWDB appointments confirmed by Texas Senate, Our Water Story grows, follow us today

The Texas Senate today confirmed the appointments of the Texas Water Development Board’s first panel of full-time directors.  After the board was restructured by the 83rd Texas Legislature, the three

board members who were confirmed today began serving the restructured board, and today’s historic confirmation provides a clear nod to the directors, who have been charged with concentrating on the most important work facing Texas today — the continued development of our state’s water supplies.
As the Texas Water Development Board continues prioritizing water infrastructure projects that are eligible to receive SWIFT funding, and working with Texas’ sixteen regional water planning groups to compile the next revision of our State Water Plan, we are grateful to know that there are experienced hands at the wheel.
